From a small start in Hubli in 1978 to three generations of distribution.

How it began

Supreme Pharma began in Hubli in 1978, when Sureshchand P. Jain and his brothers set up a pharmaceutical distribution firm to serve medical shops across North Karnataka. The idea was plain: retailers needed a distributor who would deliver what was ordered, on time, every time — and would still be there next month.

As the years passed, the brothers went on to their own ventures. Sureshchand P. Jain's family continued and built Supreme Pharma, adding principal companies, widening the delivery network and investing in the systems a growing distributor needs.

Growing with the family

The second generation, Manojkumar S. Jain and Vinodkumar S. Jain, took the business from a local distributor to a regional one. Today Supreme Pharma supplies 250+ products from 150+ principal companies to 2,500+ retail medical shops across North Karnataka.

The third generation — Akshay Jain, Gourav Jain and Jayesh Jain — now leads the next phase. This includes the ophthalmology division, a specialty line for anti-VEGF biologics and intravitreal implants that reaches hospitals and retina clinics in North Karnataka and Goa, backed by 5+ years of dedicated cold-chain handling.

What has not changed

The business is still family-run and still based in Hubli. It still runs on the same promise that started it in 1978: the right medicine, to the right customer, at the right time and place. Today that promise is backed by a team of 40+ people and a 4,000 sq ft organised office and warehouse.
